The Epitome Gallery is proud to be displaying Plumage a colorful exhibition by Local Artist and prolific muralist Tony Diaz for the month of July. Tony is known for his beautiful vibrant murals. Tony Diaz explained his title Plumage, “Like the collective coloring of feathers, my inspiration for this show is an accumulation of abstract thought, wandering inspirations, and the colors that surround us. I enjoy painting/constructing objects to use as well as enjoy. “

We reached out to get a statement from Tony Diaz and here it is:

Tony Diaz is an illustrator and muralist based out of the Northern California redwood shade. Art began at a very young age and was cultivated and shaped during this time at university studying printmaking and graphic design. Diaz‘s work is constantly evolving and inspired by myths/fables, creatures of the natural world, storytelling, states of mind and his adventures. Tony’s creative vision has opened many doors and led him to painting around the US and as far away as New Zealand. Since receiving his degree he has been commissioned, featured and won contests for many businesses and musicians for merchandise, murals, posters, apparel and logo design. Beyond the work Diaz is proud to have the ability to share his visions with others because creating art is a bond for communities and alignment for us as humans.
