The Epitome Gallery is proud to present “Out of Sequence - Comic Book Art Show” a two person show by Mungo and Solomon Clark for the month of January. This show focuses on sequential art and features two very talented local artists.

MUNGO
MUNGO is an illustrator and art educator based out of Northern California. After graduating from HSU with a degree in Studio Art, he has followed a passion for art and technology. His recent work is designed to represent a combination of the ancient world and modern life. He combines his training as a traditional artist to make art for telling stories and entertainment projects. This includes interactive design projects and self published comic books like WELCOME TO THE MUNGOVERSE and DAZE OF THE WEEK.
Solomon Clark
A Humboldt local, Solomon Clark graduated from HSU with a degree in Environmental Engineering. He used this technical background to build the gritty, realistic, lived-in, near future world of BARB: Mother of Vengeance — a seven part sci-fi comic series.
Illustrated in the watercolor and ink style made infamous in the pages of Heavy Metal magazine through the 1970’s and 80’s, BARB: Mother of Vengeance has been described as “Death Wish meets The Expanse”, and is a retro-futurist throwback that packs a punch!
